Didier Cohen is voice of all things Gen Y, from music to film and TV to fashion and technology. He is a television and radio personality, an established DJ and model.
With an ear for a beat that can make can get any crowd moving it is no surprise Didier signed to Sony Music Australia in 2015. Since then he has been touring both internationally and locally and working with some of the music industries most respected producers. In 2016 Didier toured with Club MTV and hosted the MTV Beats and Eats Festival.
Prior to Didier moving to Australia he began his career in music where he worked as one of LA’s youngest music industry executives starting at 18 as an A&R scout for Immortal Records/Epic, RCA Records under music industry legends Clive Davis and Jeff Blue. At 20 he moved over to A&R /Management for Velvet Hammer Records/Management.
Most recently on television Didier co-hosted the 30th Annual ARIA Awards Red Carpet and saw him win Network Seven’s newest music show The Big Music Quiz. 2015 saw Didier return for his second and final season of Australia’s Next Top Model – this time as a judge and mentor alongside Cheyenne Tozzi, Judge Alex Perry and host / Judge Jennifer Hawkins. Previously Didier has also been a guest presenter on Foxtel’s The Movie Show and a contestant on Channel Nine’s successful The Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.
On the radio in 2016 Didier was a regular guest on KIIS FM’s The Thinker Girls and NOVA 100 Chrissy, Sam and Browny. Previously Didier was a cast member on Australia’s No 1 radio breakfast show, 2Day FM’s The Kyle & Jackie O Show, moving now to be a regular guest of the duo at KIIS 1065. He was also part of the highly successful national radio program Take 40 Australia on the Austereo Network.
As an ambassador Didier currently works with Canadian Club and Fashion and tech brand MOVE. Didier was also the official GH Mumm Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival 2016 ambassador. A highly successful international model, Didier was the face of underwear brand MensFit and has featured in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Nike and Adidas, among others. He was the face of Industrie with international model Miranda Kerr for two years.
As a fashion leader and innovator, Didier also released his own successful design collaboration DC for CO range with Cotton On in Australia in 2013.
Didier is an ambassador for Youth Off the Streets, Ovarian Research Foundation and the Polished Man.
