Arun Clarke is a Gold Coast-based actor, available in Brisbane and Sydney, whose work is defined by physical command, emotional intelligence, and an instinct for moral complexity. Born in London and raised in Brisbane, Arun trained at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art), graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
At NIDA, Arun took lead roles across a demanding range of classical and contemporary texts — playing Leonardo in Blood Wedding (dir. Dino Dimitriadis), Trigorin in The Seagull (dir. Ben Schostakowski), and the Father in Six Characters in Search of an Author (dir. Clara Voda). These roles share a through-line: men of intelligence and contradiction, compelling and dangerous in equal measure.
Since graduating, Arun has sharpened his screen craft through two masterclass series with acclaimed Australian film director Kim Farrant — RAW Truth and Sexuality On Screen — completing both with a deepened facility for the interior, camera-specific work that defines great screen performance.
At 189cm with a broad athletic build, combat and stunt training, and a versatile accent range across eight dialects, Arun is ready for film, television and international projects.
