Belinda Chapple has one of the most recognisable faces in Australia.

A veteran of the entertainment business, Belinda trained at the Johnny Young Talent school in Sydney. A singer, dancer and model, she shot to stardom as a member of the award winning and platinum selling band Bardot. They completed several national and international tours throughout the UK, India, New Zealand and throughout the Asia Pacific region. Bardot became the first group ever to debut at number one on the Australian charts with both their first single and their first album. Six hit singles, a double platinum and another gold album later, Bardot garnered a strong reputation throughout the industry for their solid live song and dance performances.

The band played to packed houses at: Rumba, the ARIA’s, the Bollywood Awards and more. Bardot’s self titled debut album reached double platinum sales in both Australia and New Zealand and Gold in many parts of Asia. The second album Play It Like That also reached Gold status. Their hit singles included: Poison, These Days, I Should Have Never Let You Go, ASAP, I Need Somebody and Love Will Find A Way.

Belinda has performed at The ARIA Awards, MTV Music Awards ASIA for Channel [V], Bardot’s Australian Tour, Bardot & Human Nature’s Australian tour, UK’s SMTV, Live and Kicking, Pepsi Live, Bollywood Film Awards, Rumba, Mardi Gras, Television shows and tours in Singapore, Taiwan, Bangkok, Malaysia, India, Japan, Manila, Jakarta, New Zealand, UK and Scotland.

As a model Belinda has graced the covers of several magazines and enjoyed a successful international career, most recently in Europe where she was the face of a global beauty brand.

Not content to rest on her creative laurels, Belinda is also a graduate of the National Design Academy in England. Having travelled all over the world visiting hundreds of cities, Belinda’s passion for interiors and design was born exploring different cultures and design aesthetics. Her company, House of Chapple Interiors launched in 2018. Working with clients all over the world, some of her design work includes residential homes in Singapore and Marbella, and international hotel projects in Singapore.

Now living in Sydney, Belinda is working on new music with friend and former bandmate Katie Underwood. Together they launched Ka’Bel and their first single Broken Hearted was released in November 2021, followed by Heartstrings in June 2022. New music coming soon!

In 2023 Belinda released her eagerly anticipated autibiography The Girl In The Band.
