Emily Rink, 23, from the Western suburbs of outer Brisbane, is an actor, singer-songwriter, Indie Pop Artist who blends modern tones and heartfelt experience into tasteful tunes.
She had a late start to her music career, although music has always been a big part of Emily's life, it became her saviour in a way when she suffered a major horse-riding injury at eighteen. Through this time of recovery, she turned to music, at nineteen, went to JMC Academy and very quickly her time was completely consumed by some form of music, whether it be writing, listening, practicing, or attending live shows.
Over the last few years she has written and recorded with some of Australia’s top producers including Andy Mak, Jordan Power, and Christian Patey. After releasing a consistent stream of tracks since 2019 she has slowly gained traction.
Emily’s long list of live and successful gigs is a testament to her artistry and following. She has played at some of Brisbane’s favourite venues including Felons, The Triffid and her 2022 single launch at the Black Bear Lodge. She also supported Selfish Sons (in 2021 and 2022).
