Jolene Anderson is one of Australia's most popular and beloved actors and personalities.

At 25, whilst still in drama school, Jolene landed the role of nurse Erica Templeton on the long running drama, All Saints. During her three-year contract she also went on to partner with David Campbell on the second season of the celebrity singing show, It Takes Two; which they won. Offers from record companies were presented to Jolene, and she turned them down, instead taking the role of The Girl, in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s one-woman musical, Tell Me on A Sunday. She also narrated and presented a series for Network seven, titled Bush Doctors.

In 2008 Jolene landed the lead role of sergeant Shannon Henry on Network Ten’s tactical response drama, Rush. During her three-year contract Jolene also scored a coveted role as a presenter on the ABC’s beloved, Playschool. Season four of Rush marked the end of the successful series and Jolene moved interstate to star in the lead role as Hypatia of Alexandria, in the Queensland Theatre Companies play, Fractions.

Jolene has split her time between the USA and Australia for six years working on projects around the globe. In 2013 she played the lead role in the short film Beyond Memories, which was produced by The Weinstein Company. 2016 saw her in Malaysia shooting a lead role in the Blumhouse produced film, Prey. She also shot the feature film Living Space at the end of 2016 in Melbourne. In 2017 Jolene filmed the Warner Bros television pilot The Searcher’s which was filmed in South Africa where she was cast in the role of Eden Brookes (mother), which she also narrated.

In 2018 Jolene starred in two Australian films; Book Week and the lead role in the science filction Film, The Dustwalker. 2018 saw Jolene land the lead female role in Harrow produced by ABC Australia and ABC USA. 2022 saw her playing Bryan Brown’s daughter in the television series, Darby and Joan. In 2023 Jolene completed a writing degree with Southern Cross University in between producing a feature film titled Baby Girl which she also penned alongside Cloudberry Films.
